Creative Romance Month

February is a month that has long been associated with love, so it is no surprise that it has been deemed  National Creative Romance Month (Learn more here)!  The basic idea is that dating is essential to relationships and should be more than just an appointment on the calendar.

My hubby and I do not celebrate Valentine's day, and while I call it a Hallmark holiday it actually has a long history.  Trust me on this- if you love Valentine's day- don't look it up.

I would be willing to guess that your dream client could use a little romance in their life so with a little creativity you might be able to observe Creative Romance in a way that is relevant to you and your dream client.

Can you create a service that would be a unique date night experience?

Would the product you make help make someone's significant other feel special?

Fill-In-The-Blank

Keep it simple and easy to answer if you want people to play along.  Be sure to share yours in the comments to encourage others to play.

Maybe something funny like: 

Date night means _____________ (used suggestive text to answer)

Share a romantic Quote or saying

Choose a quote about love that you or your audience can relate to.  Use this template or share a picture of you and your love with the quote in the captions.

Ask a Question

Questions are a great way to start conversations, build know like and trust with your audience and boost your visibility.

There are a bunch of date night questions you could ask. You could share a story about a date night gone wrong and then ask something like: what is your go-to date night activity?

Why do you need CTA's on your posts?

Have you heard this term before?  CTA stands for Call-To-Action.

I believe in most things you only get what you ask for, which is why CTA's are pretty important.  If you don't ask for it you probably won't get it.

Not sure what to ask?  Well, it does help if when you post something you know why.  Meaning if you are just posting to post without a strategy behind it deciding on a CTA might be hard.  So no surprise here that I highly recommend understanding how social media supports your business so you can create content that will help you achieve your goals.

A CTA isn't always going to be
 "go buy my thing".  Sometimes it is an instruction on how to get more information,  or it could be a simple question to improve engagement.

Giving your post captions a CTA is how you can guide people on the next steps. 

If your goal is to provide education to your audience and you share a great tip they want to know more.  So it might be smart to encourage them to visit your website.

If building brand awareness is your goal you way have a product or service-related question and tell them to tag a friend who needs this in their life.

Not all posts need a CTA but I recommend most having one even if the only expectation is to see your posts like count go up.

You will also want to consider the platform you are on when choosing a CTA.  For example on Instagram links do not work in your post captions.
